This week’s commentary from me is going to be short and sharp, because nothing paints a clearer picture than numbers.
The Collective’s July auction event, last Saturday at The Calile Hotel, was an absolute belter. A crowded room witnessed sixteen properties sell from across The Collective, representing more than $30 million in sales.
Two of those properties I took great pride in managing myself, both transacting under the hammer for more than $5 million each.
My team and I sold 76 Crescent Rd, Hamilton ($5.2m, five registered bidders) and 35 Katoomba Ave, Hawthorne ($5.25m, four registered bidders) to local buyers.
The thirst for Brisbane prestige property remains incredibly healthy, with the ongoing influx of interest from interstate and overseas parties increasing competition levels and therefore prices.
It’s why I remain dogged in my recommendation for anyone considering selling their property to do so now, as I believe you will not get a better price than what you will in this current market.
I hope you enjoy the read.
