When my best mate Haesley Cush and I started out at Ray White New Farm together, as ambitious 20-something-year-olds simply having a go, we were keen yet blissfully ignorant as to just how high our stars could soar.
Last night, Haes and I stood on stage at the annual Ray White Queensland awards celebrating Ray White New Farm as the #1 office across not only the state, but the entire country.
The Collective was also recognised as the network’s top group across Queensland, and internationally.
I’m also humbled to be named #1 Ray White selling principal in Queensland for a third consecutive year.
As laidback lads from Moorooka, with a relationship spanning more than 35 years, Haes and I have done alright.
I can confidently tell you none of the above would have happened without the people we surround ourselves with. That old saying about being the product of the five people we spend the most time with has never chimed so true.
The Collective (Ray White New Farm, Ray White Bulimba, Ray White Toowong, Ray White Clayfield and Living Here Cush Partners) is a family, our family of more than 150 legendary talented humans who took a leap of faith around 12 months ago in joining forces to be better.
Last night our cumulative efforts and investment in each other were recognised with tangible awards which reflect so much more than sales figures and record results.
The benchmarks continue to rise for our successful businesses, but most importantly our people are thriving and exceeding even their own greatest expectations.
I’ve no words to express my gratitude to Haesley, sharing these moments with him are memories I’ll always cherish. And I send all my love and thanks to my wife Caity, our four beautiful children and extended family. Onwards and upwards!
I hope you enjoy the read.
