Running the stairs…

By Haesley Cush

What a night!!

The inner city suburb of New Farm was ‘Lit up’ on Thursday night as the Ray White New Farm team spent the evening ‘running the stairs’ of the convention centre. We collected 6 prizes: Dan Smith hit 10 years ‘Tenure award’,
Andreja Brkan Finalist for ‘Rookie for the Year’; Tara Cole ‘Administrator Property Manager’ of the year; ‘Administration team of the Year’; ‘Marketing Office of the Year’; Matt Lancashire ‘Number 6 out of 1200 agents’ for 2010 and Ray White New Farm number 5 Queensland and number 3 Brisbane in ratings!

A quick update on the market. Sales have been well spread across the board. We have recorded a number of sales in the high end (above $2million) and also seen that push from first home buyers (under $550k) continue.  I thinkas the year matures we will see a return of renovators and investors, this is a market where well presented properties will receive a premium.

Thanks for your support in 2010. 2011 is stacking up to be a big year, our next auctions are Sunday week (27th March) at the Emporium hope to see you there.

Happy Hunting

“When is the best time to sell?” A question I’m asked a lot. Is it Spring? Surely it’s Spring, the market is waking up after winter, the birds are singing and perfume of flowers in the garden must bring in buyers like bees to the honey pot. The answer to when, is a little less poetic and less predictable. Real estate is … Read more
