It comes in 3’s… Or. Have the next 2 weekends off! Or Eggs, Anzac’s and Anniversaries…

By Haesley Cush

Next week means many things to many people. An Easter celebration, an Anzac tribute or a well positioned Wedding Anniversary ensuring the ‘important date’ will not be clumsily over-looked by a local real estate principal.

The next 2 weeks offers 4 public holidays. The positioning is well timed after a huge first quarter for many Brisbane-ites. As the market takes a ‘breath’ in the next week, while people enjoy their holidays, it is a good time to prepare yourself for a strong second quarter. April will definitely be a month of 2 halves as buyers push to close off contracts this week. Sales have occurred in investment stock and family homes alike and I see a good movement still in well presented properties.

We will be featuring property auctions at the ‘Powerhouse’ on 28th May under the marquee. This will be a wonderful indicator of the market as we move toward the end of the 2010/11 year.

Enjoy the break, don’t forget to take a moment for the troops and happy anniversary Leesh!

Happy hunting (for homes or eggs!)
