Have Gavel Will Travel

By Haesley Cush

Its been another exciting month for us at rwnf!! Its the renewed energy in the market place that is fuelling our momentum. I’m writing today from Sarina after being involved with the sale of a Pub up here under the hammer!

We have seen 3 key changes in the last month:

1. There has been an increase in open house inspections, approximately double across the board, in the last thirty days.

2. Last months dormant market, between $600k – $1.2mil has seen strong sales in the last 30days. You may remember from last months update that from $22million worth of sales, for the month, we saw none in this price range. This month we have recorded 25% of our total sales in that range (approx $5mil).

3. The clearance rates!! We cleared roughly 50% of our auctions this month at our regular sales event. We auctioned over 50 properties at the Emporium, along with various on-site auctions and regional sales. As our market becomes more comfortable with this genre of sale/purchase we will see more accurate date relating to these rates.

The month also saw our annual ‘Wine & Property Expo’ you can see images and a story about Matusik’s presentation in this months Village News or click

  • It’s Heating Up again as the Cold Weather Comes in

“When is the best time to sell?” A question I’m asked a lot. Is it Spring? Surely it’s Spring, the market is waking up after winter, the birds are singing and perfume of flowers in the garden must bring in buyers like bees to the honey pot. The answer to when, is a little less poetic and less predictable. Real estate is … Read more
