That’s right only a month till Christmas and shoppers (buyers) are out in force. December historically is a great selling period, buyers have more time to view properties as things in their own lives start to wind down. The main forces over the December/January period that slow the market are the large number of owners who want to avoid the inconvenience of inspection’s during the holiday’s. We understand that, but fortune favours the brave and in the current market it’s all hands on deck! We will be open all through Christmas and New Year (closing on the public holidays) with the intention of being available when the buyers are.
Last night saw another great night at our auctions, facts are we sold 6 properties out of 15. That’s 40% which is the highest clearance rate from the most recent inner city auction’s (across all realtors). We have a few contracts on the table and are looking to close out the others in the next few days.
From the front line we closed out over $12 million in sales and the prices were ranged from $220k to the highest price of $2million.
