Exciting young Lions forward Kai Lohmann, in his fourth year with Brisbane, is currently sidelined with a calf strain. The Lions are back at The Gabba this Saturday for a Round 22 showdown with the Sydney Swans, but there will be no sign of Lohmann on the ground as he battles to be fit for finals footy.
Ray White Collective co-partner and my good mate Haesley Cush shared the front of the room with Kai on Monday, asking the premiership player everything from how he started out in the game, to surviving darker moments.
Here’s what I learnt from Kai, and what I hope you’ll find helpful too;
I’m proud to say Ray White Queensland formed a partnership with the Lions last year, mid-season at a time when the club was 13th on the ladder after five consecutive losses. The three-year partnership, which has seen Ray White Queensland become the Lions official real estate partner, is a strategic move aimed at expanding our presence in Queensland, leveraging the AFL’s massive audience of 11.7 million people a year.
It also allows us to connect with people at the top of their game, and apply their learnings to what we do in our field. Not much separates sport and business when it comes to striving to be the best.
Go the mighty Lions!
I hope you enjoy the read.
