Big things to come

Brisbane’s property market is leading the nation and I couldn’t be more excited to be right here in the heat of all the action. As we say goodbye to the 2022/23 financial year, I need to pause and consider the magnitude of what my team has achieved over the past 12 months.

Our numbers paint the clearest of pictures of the resilience of the Brisbane prestige market.

Total value sold: $283M

Average sale price: $4.223M

Number of sales: 67

Our top 10 sales:

  1. 101 Welsby Street, New Farm | $20.5M | Brisbane record
  2. 35 Morgan Street, Ascot | $12M
  3. 10 Leura Terrace, Hawthorne | $10.21M
  4. 25 Grays Road, Hamilton | Circa $10M
  5. 26a Quay Street, Bulimba | $8.45M
  6. 41 Maxwell Street, New Farm | $8M
  7. 34 Mullens Street, Hamilton | $8M
  8. 93 Macquarie Street, Teneriffe | $7M
  9. 2 Florence Street, Clayfield | $6.95M
  10. 49 Union Street, Clayfield | $6.87M

Of the more than 6,000 buyers we met during the past 12 months, 50 per cent were local while the remainder were based interstate or overseas, which is hardly surprising given Queensland’s experiencing the largest net cross-border increase of any state or territory.

On a personal note, it’s also an honour to be recognised as Greater Brisbane’s top agent. This is an individual ranking only achieved with the unwavering support of my extraordinary team.
