Powerhouse meets Tedder Avenue
Years ago I used to call auctions on Tedder Ave at Main Beach and combine beach goers and bidders as Ray White would auction beachside unit’s on the coast. A few years on we have bought that vibe to the city but with a New Farm flavour. The 28th of May is set to be our first outdoor auctions at the Brisbane Powerhouse. We have organised for a Marquee to be set up at the steps of the Powerhouse and for 8 properties; ranging from entry level renovators (units like houses) through to luxury waterfront apartments to go under the hammer. Things generally have been good, sales under $600 are still strong and generally buyers are building at open houses. The are many soothsayers out there trying to predict the end of 2011. My tip, with only 2 weeks left to buy a property and settle it this financial year, it is positioned as a great time to buy!
